Mad Men Infographic

It’s finally finished! After a month of hardcore research and illustration, it’s finished.

This is probably one of the more difficult infographics I have done.

It was super complex and took a lot of time to research. It was a lot more fun to go deeper into the world of Mad Men then it was, if you saw my last infographic about the Banks project, Cincinnati development plans.

Stay tuned for more!

Linden Arden Stole the Highlights

Check this song out. It’s on, in my opinion, Van’s second best album, Veedon Fleece.

That’s What’s Up

So, this is for the song That’s What’s Up by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. I think it’s cute. That’s just me though.

Slim, Slow, Slider

This isn’t really anything special. Just thought I would post something for the heck of it.

Blues Run the Game

I wasn’t lying this time. The creative, design juices are flowing!

So. It’s been awhile. I’m sorry! I missed my days as a minimalist. This is my attempt at mixing the new with the old.

Van is my favorite. I was so worried about doing a poster for him because I wanted it to be just right. It’s the same reason I haven’t designed a poster for most of my favorite movie; I’m scared I won’t do it justice. I think this turned out well and I recommend looking up the song, you won’t be sorry!

I’m going to try and design more in my free time (all ten minutes a week), so stay tuned!

Still working

So this is close to being finished. I screwed up and had to redo it and I like how the final print came out. I sanded it to give it more of a rough and vintage feel. I may have sanded it a little too much but I’m happy with it for it ring my first shot. I’ll updated when it’s all framed!

Work in Progress

Work in progress. I’m trying to make a wood print. I’ll let you guys know how it turns out!

Ok, so I lied in my last post.

I just whipped this thing up. It started off as a CMYK poster and then turned into something a little more.

Dead Poets Society

This is one of my most favorite movies of all times. It is the quintessential emotional roller coaster for film. I am trying out a new style for my illustrations and this was my first shot at it.

I used a paper texture and a green background to give it more of the school feel.

I hope you guys enjoy, also, I understand the quote is not from that part of the movie, but it is one of the most famous quotes from the film so I matched it with one of the most famous scenes in the film.
